Hearsay Social launches local social marketing; Egypt comes back online

InternMatch, helping students find internships, raised $400,000 in angel funding from Dave McClure, Mitch Kapor, Kenny Van Zant, and Raj Agarwal.

Manymoon, a social productivity suite for businesses, has been acquired by Salesforce. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Health startup Massive Health raised a $2.25 million seed round.

Social music startup Rdio, created by the founders of Skype, raised $17.5 million in funding from Mangrove Capital Partners, along with previous investors Skype, Atomico Ventures and Janus Fris.

 

Y-Combinator-backed ReadyForZero launched to provide a wholly personalized strategy for getting people out of credit card debt

SolidFire, a stealth cloud computing storage platform, closed $11 million in Series A funding led by New Enterprise Associates (NEA) with current investors Valhalla Partners and Novak Biddle Venture Partners participating

Content recommendation engine Outbrain acquired Surphace, formerly known as Sphere, from AOL. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
