Who's using the ChaCha Q&A service?

About 13% of ChaCha's usage comes from mobile phone users

ChaCha, a Q&A service that's found its stride by offering its service on mobile phones, raised $72 million in financing since inception back in 2005. In this interview, ChaCha CEO and founder Scott Jones gives us an update on the service, such as who's using it, how many users come from the mobile device and what kind of questions is the service good for.

Some highlights:

- About three million people, or 13% of its users, come from using a mobile phone.

- Mobile phone users are "extremely engaged" as they ask 20 questions per month

- Mobile users are younger, ranging from 13 to 25 years old

- The questions the service is good for run the gamut. They range from questions about relationships to questions about homework to questions about travel.
