Ready to take your company from finalist to winner in the TiE50 Awards?

 

TiEcon 2009, the world’s largest conference for entrepreneurs, seeks to showcase 50 of the most promising startup companies through the TiE50 Awards.

The TiE50 winners will be honored at an award ceremony on Thursday, May 14 in Santa Clara.

TiE50 winners will present their companies in a live showcase over the two days of TiEcon 2009, on May 15th and 16th in Santa Clara, CA.  In addition to being featured at TiEcon 2009, the TiE50 will also receive ongoing support and increased visibility throughout the year. The selection process for TiE50 winners will be based on a combination of a public poll and private judges’ vote.

Voting dates/instructions:

When voting begins: April 22, 2009

When voting ends: May 3, 2009

Polls can be accessed here. TiEcon has also established a partnership with social media site Vator.tv to help promote the 150 finalists. 

Who can participate:

This competition is closed to the 150 finalists chosen by TieCon. Selected from nearly 1,200 nominated companies, the finalists represent the hottest emerging startups in five focus segments: Consumer Web, Internet Infrastructure, Cleantech, Wireless and Software. 

How to win:

In addition to the results of the public poll, the finalist companies will be judged on their product or service, market size and dynamics, leadership team, business model and progress since founding their company.

Finalists are encouraged to set up a profile on this competition page to introduce themselves to Vator.tv’s influential audience of investors, technology company executives and entrepreneurs. It's a great way to share your story, build a following and get out the vote!
