Catalyst Competition - Awarding Leading Women-led Startups

What you win:

Winners of the Catalyst Competition will present onstage at the Catalyst Conference on Jan. 26, 2010 in San Francisco, to an audience of hundreds and a panel of experienced entrepreneurs and investors as judges. Presenters will gain visibility, feedback -- and perhaps even funding. All applicable entrants will receive discount passes to the conferences, and runners-up will be given VIP passes. Further prizes TBA.

Time frame: Competition launches November 16, 2009 and ends January 14, 2010, at 11:59 pm PST.

Who should apply:

Startups at any stage of maturity pre-exit with female leadership are eligible to apply.

Leadership is defined as:
--A female CEO or COO or CTO
--A female founder who remains on the senior management team

How to apply:

Submissions are in the form of a Vator company profile. We encourage video as it gives us a better sense of who’s behind the company. For what to include in your video, see below under, "see more details"

How to win:

After the final 10 are selected, a panel of venture capitalists (Joyce Chung, Cindy Padnos, Sharon Wienbar) and Industry Insiders will rank the runners-up.  All 10 will receive passes to the Catalyst Conference and the top five will present onstage at the Catalyst Conference on Jan. 26, 2010 in San Francisco.
