Espree Devora is founder and CEO of ZexSports, a digital media company focused on brands looking for solutions to help target the youth market via local action sports events; skate, surf, snow, moto, bmx. After extensive worldwide travel, she saw there was no place central place to connect with action sports enthusiasts. Having a passion for action sports, travel, the Internet and technology, ZexSports was conceived in 2003.
Her mission is to connect brands to local events, through credible means that reflect the attitudes of the athletes. Espree has provided seminars in interactive content and social media at Georgetown University, the Art Institute in Los Angeles, and USC Business and Management School. She holds a B.A. from University of Arizona. She credits her father who would take her to MX competitions and who took her on her first trip to Big Bear to snowboard.
In addition she created Women in Action Sports (WIAS) which provides a platform for women athletes and entrepreneurs to engage, prosper and accomplish individual goals in a male-dominated industry of Action Sports.
ZexSports Chief Information Officer is Spencer Anderson. He is head of Network Operations at Clear North Technologies. Under the management of Mr. Anderson, Clear North’s network operations division experienced a 50% increase in annual revenue over a three year span. With eleven years of professional IT experience, a certified security background, and knowledge of how to make technology work for business, he joined forces with ZexSports in November 2006.
Mr. Anderson's experience includes leading a robust development team to create a web site which would interact with many different proprietary technologies running behind the scenes. The end result was an easy to use network security analysis portal. He also brings experience managing the evaluation of many different hosted technologies to select the best combination of price and features. This knowledge falls directly in line with ZexSports' needs from the technology perspective.
