Zentyal, developer of the Linux small business server of the same name, aims at providing small and medium businesses with an affordable and easy-to-use enterprise-level computer network. By using Zentyal, SMBs are able to improve the reliability and security of their network infrastructure and to reduce their investments and operational costs.
Zentyal development was started in early 2004 and currently it is an open source alternative to Windows Small Business Server. The Zentyal Development Team and Authorized Zentyal Partners offer a series of subscription services such as Quality assured software updates, Alerts and reports, Centralized monitoring and administration of multiple Zentyal servers, Technical support and Certified training.

Ignacio Correas
Founder and CEO
Ignacio has an entrepreneurial spirit with an open view on new tendencies in technology, business development and social interactions. Supported by an international educational background with a wide scope both in technology and business administration, Ignacio began his career as a software analyst and project manager at Suomen 3C OY, Finland.
After a short experience as an open source freelance consultant and an assistant professor at the University of Zaragoza, Ignacio co-founded Warp Networks, becoming its CEO and the main responsible for its business development. He was also one of the founders and President (from the year 2008 to 2010) of CESLA, a regional association of IT companies working on open source technologies. When Zentyal span off from Warp, Ignacio decided to lead this new business adventure, leaving the responsibility of Warp in good hands while keeping his seat in Warp’s board.
Javi Vazquez
COO
Javi Vázquez joins Zentyal after eight years at Igalia, company that he co-founded in 2001 and where he served as Managing Director since its foundation. In this position Javi Vázquez was responsible for management, finance, general coordination, recruitment, communication and sales of the company.
During this time, Igalia has become one of the largest OSS companies in Spain employing currently 40 people. Moreover he was the president of AGASOL (Galician Association of OSS Companies) from 2007 until 2009. Javi Vázquez received a MS degree in Computer Engineering from the University of A Coruña in 2001 and a master’s degree in IT Business Management from the Escuela de Negocios Caixanova in 2004. Besides he has carried out Marketing of Technology studies at the San Diego State University (SDSU) in 2005.

Zentyal offers the following products and services to the small and medium businesses, either directly to the end customers or through the Authorized Zentyal Partners:
- Zentyal Server: The Linux Small Business Server that covers the needs of any small and medium business. Zentyal can act as a Network Gateway, Unified Threat Manager, Office Server, Infrastructure Manager, Unified Communications Server or a combination of them.
- Zentyal Cloud: Cloud-based subscription services guarantee customers with Quality Assured software updates, Security alerts and notifications, Frequent reports on system performance and use, or Central monitoring and administration of multiple Zentyal servers. Subscription add-ons include Advanced security updates, Disaster recover and Low-cost VoIP credit.
- Technical support: Several support options, from continuous support packages with different service level agreements to one-time support or migration support.
- Certified training: Comprehensive set of hands-on training courses (both in-person and on-line) that allow to learn easily Linux network management, based on Zentyal.
