Yakit has stitched together 50+ first-mile, long-haul, and last-mile shippers as well as customs agents into a virtual delivery network that provides great global coverage. It adds a software layer for intelligent and dynamic routing, duties calculations and payments, country-wise regulatory restrictions and compliance, and returns processing. All of this is available to an e-commerce merchant or a marketplace as a simple-to-use pay-as-you-go API.
Yakit has built all of this with a small global team and with seed funding of ~ $2M. Yakit is now poised to make a serious dent in the world of global ecommerce.
