WALKING SHADOWS is an entertainment company that is inthe primary business of producing, publishing, licensing and distributing motion picture products - as well as providing related motion picture services.

WALKING SHADOWS specializes in the acquisition,marketing, distribution, exhibition, wholesaling, and retailing of qualityindependent, foreign, "arthouse", genre, and documentary films.  It produces, publishes, licenses anddistributes films and videos in theaters, on television, on DVD/BluRay, anddigitally.  The company's productsare sold at movie theaters, traditional retailers nationwide, internetretailers and, to some extent, internationally.  The company sells its own proprietary content, licensescontent from third parties, and distributes content for third parties for afee.

WALKING SHADOWS works with a range of retail outletsincluding Wal-Mart, Blockbuster, Hollywood Video, Netflix and Amazon.com toimplement its specialized distribution strategy.

WALKING SHADOWS was incorporated in the State ofCalifornia on October 10th, 2006 originally under the name Luminous VelocityReleasing LLC  (or LVR).  In December 2008, it underwent a namechange that is not only easier to say and spell - but is also more dramatic,cinematic, and literary and thus better reflects its core businesses.
