Dr. Glenn Skutt, President, & CTO: Glenn has over 20 yearsexperience in power electronics, DC-DC converter design, and power convertermanufacturing. In 2008 Dr. Skutt co-founded VPT Energy Systems to commercializeadvanced power conversion technologies for smart grid applications.

Dr. Jack Lesko, VP Engineering & Business Development: Jackhas 20+ years of design and analytical experience as a mechanical engineer,with core expertise in mechanics, materials, reliability, and systemdynamics.  Jack is a co-founder of VPTEnergy Systems focused on packaging and thermal design.  

VPT Energy Systems is a seed stage start-up focused onresearch and product development for interoperable bidirectional powerelectronics for the evolving smart grid. Currently operating as a developer and integrator of power electronic systems for the emerging distributed smart grid market.   

Our bidirectional power flow control technology and it's ability to coordinate with the utility enables the high penetration of distributed renewable sources and energy storage, improving grid stability, efficiency, and security.
