Company description
The company was born because my eldest son suffered from Febrile Seizures, essentially a fit brought on by high temperatures. Consequently when he fell ill it meant spending nights in his room, manually tracking his temperature in an attempt to control an already very stressful situation. The need for something continuous and remote arose and nothing could be found. Our wearables are disposable, small, flexible, waterproof, discreet, noninvasive and has a 6 day battery life (average hospital stay is 3-5 days). Unprecedented continuous vital signs will now be made available to nurses in wards and doctors off site through our user-friendly software. We believe we could make a massive difference in peoples lives by bringing this technology to High care wards, General wards, ER, post operative patients' homes, outpatients etc. Adoption in hospitals is a major obstacle, as well as Wifi, slow movement of hospitals to paperless systems, clinical trials, regulatory requirements etc. But after the sweat and tears comes real-time saving of lives, early detection of deterioration, peaceful patients, reduced re-admissions, overall cost reductions and increased hospital capacity. That’s just the beginning.
