Urge Productions provides digital media production services typically only available from large interactive and branding agencies.
 Our production services include graphic design, branding, UX, Flash prototyping, video production & editing, motion graphics, photography and audio design.

Expanded production services can involve production assistants, illustrators, 3D motion designers, voice over talent, producers and cinematographers!

We are currently providing services to innovative tech startups in the san francisco bay area and would love to hear your pitch.  

Jeff Steinmetz - Founder:  Specializes in the convergence of technology and creative services. He has consulted for fortune 500 companies, launched start-ups and presented at web conferences.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Minnesota in Theatre, Music and Computer Science.  He has has worked in photography, sound, lighting, graphic arts and design.  Urge Productions has provided these services since 1994.

In addition to his freelance business, Jeff was a technology specialist for 7 years at Microsoft.  Prior to Microsoft, he was a practice lead for Magenic Technologies.

When the XBOX 360 launched, the XBOX team selected "Limelight" - produced and written by Jeff (see kepiandkat.com) to be the featured song on the launch title "Perfect Dark Zero".

After Microsoft, he joined up with Zivity to act as their editorial director and senior program manager.

He has provided freelance digital media production for local tech start-ups as well as established brands.

Jeff is a member of NARAS & voting Grammy member and a member of the Advertising Photographers of America.
