TiE Silicon Valley

TiE is the oldest and largest nonprofit dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship.  Founded in 1992, TiE Silicon Valley has over 12,000 Members and over 300 Charter Members.

TiE has 53 chapters across 12 countries.  TiE was founded for the purpose of nurturing the entrepreneurial ecosystem by allowing a free exchange of ideas between entrepreneurs, intrapreneurs, CEOs, and venture capitalists through a series of programs and events.  TiE Silicon Valley hosts its annual flagship event, TiEcon, every May where over 3,000 people convene at the Santa Clara Convention Center to network, raise funding, and learn new ideas.
