Cities need sustainability and sustainability needs cities. Sustainable Reference has created SURE! to help them to become more sustainable. It will change the city economy by helping citizens, companies and city halls to create a more sustainable society and a green economy. Cities put a lot of money in sustainable programs that are boring and old-fashioned. SURE! is a 365/24 program measuring cities sustainability.

Team

Andy Bäcker is the CEO and Founder. He manages a team of 15 person and 22 collaborators in 22 different countries. In the Bilbao's headquarter, the CTO, Alvaro Soriano is in charge of the product development.

Business model

Cities or big companies will pay a fee to participate in SURE! We will open the platform in their cities by location detection. Cities will earn recognition by participating in an innovative program. The platform will give the opportunity to promote offers and products to companies, merchants and shops. Companies who take the effort to become more sustainable will be rewarded with new clients and they will increase their revenues with an easy marketing platform. Sustainable citizens will be rewarded with offers.

Competitive advantage

SURE! strategy is completely different than other similar initiatives. We focus on cities and on allying with them to incorporate bilateral marketing and help them with their actual or non-existent sustainable programs. We are patenting our system and algorithm in the USA(patent pending) and in the EU.
