Stitch Fix customers fill out a style profile at stitchfix.com that outlines their style, budget and body type. Working with an inventory of over 200 brands, Stitch Fix stylists hand-pick clothes and accessories that work for that customer profile and ship 5 items to the customers’ door. Customers try everything on at home, they keep what they want and send back what they don't. Customers pay for only what they keep and can return items in a USPS mailbox.
By seamlessly blending technology and fashion expertise, Stitch Fix delivers women the clothes that will help them look their best. Stitch Fix stylists use a proprietary matching software to help them match individual clients to wardrobe pieces from a broad set of inventory, and it continues to improve over time by tracking each customer’s preferences, making Stitch Fix the only shopping experience that can know as much about women's preferences.
