Spirit Technologies, LLC-B has created the first DOE approved curriculum and integrated software (SCORE!) for the Home Energy Score Program (www.homeenergyscore.gov), with assistance from the University of Missouri and other external subject matter experts.
This is the first copyrighted online training that guarantees a job anywhere in the US, once the course is completed. Training modules are completed and beginning in May will be offered at over 160 colleges nationwide.
Anyone can go through the online training at a local community college or state funded University and become a Home Energy Score Qualified Assessor, and become RESNET (see www.resnet.us) certified. Once the coursework is completed by a student they will be an independent assessor in their area for the Home Energy Score Program, using the SCORE! software. The course includes:
Energy Auditor Certification (approved /WAPTAC/DOE curriculum);Home Energy Score Software Training;Home Energy Score Test;RESNET HESP Certification;RESNET first year membership;Quality Assurance Membership for the first year (10% of all scores must be reviewed);Marketing to get started, including a uniform, business cards, onine advertising in your area, a personal website, e-mail and 24/7 support. They will continue to have weekly webinars for training.
Once the student has his own website he will also have access to energy efficient products, eco-friendly products and other sustainable products available for sale to consumers that they earn a 25% commission on each item they sell.
When a consumer orders a Home Energy Score from our non-profit division (www.homescore.org) for $199.00, the certified HESQA will receive $159.00. $30 of the costs of the score goes to national marketing, support,charity and corporate costs.
Income potential for someone taking this course:
10 Home Energy Scores completed per week = $1590 per week
additional commission from products sold
advertising on their personal website & within the report itself
