Andre Golsorkhi

President & CEO, Founder, Snipi, Inc.

Andre Golsorkhi is the president, CEO and founder of Snipi, Inc., a patent-pending system for social shopping in the online retail market. Founded in 2007, Snipi, Inc. empowers the individual’s shopping experience and will become the leading Internet platform brand for all stakeholders: the consumer, the retailer and the advertiser.

Golsorkhi is also the president, CEO and founder of Omeda Design + Technology, which offers compelling design and web application services that stress interactive and functional qualities. From its origins in 2003, Omeda Design + Technology’s client roster has grown to include Fortune 500 and similarly substantial entities such as IMAX Corporation, Boyd Gaming, the Borgata Hotel and Casino, Philadelphia Park Casinos and other private and public organizations. Omeda is recognized as one of the region’s premier design and technology agencies. As Omeda’s President, Andre oversees sales, client satisfaction, strategic planning and business development.

Prior to founding Omeda and while still in college, Golsorkhi recognized the growing interest in portable physician scheduling and billing solutions and, on a parallel track to his course work, developed MediLync—a proprietary, handheld patient scheduling and billing solution housed in PDAs. The solution answered the need for remote and out-of-office billing and scheduling capabilities for physicians, hospitals and other medical professionals who were losing revenue from the inability to properly capture patient encounters. After building MediLync to a 10,000+ user base, the program was sold to a private buyer in 2003.

An entrepreneur at heart, Golsorkhi has demonstrated innate ability to identify and quantify opportunity, to gather the technical resources to develop the needed solution, to inspire commitment through native leadership ability and drive and to then capitalize the entities with the needed management oversight and structure.

Andre attended the University of Massachusetts from 1997–2001, focusing on Legal Studies and Business Management.
