Company description
Hi, I'm Dee, and I'm a failed scrapbooker. I have everything collected to make my scrapbook (ticket stubs, photos, maps), but I never actually have the time to put it together. With social media I don't have to organize my physical things anymore, since I'm using sites to upload photos on the go. You'd think that with all this modern tech organizing my memories would be easier online. But it isn't.
Heather, my co-founder, and I created Scrapsule to fix this problem. Scrapsule is the digital marriage of scrapbooks and time capsules. It's a social media aggregation system that uses keywords to automatically organize your digital memories by topic, giving you a cohesive visual experience for your memories.

Chose a keyword or a hashtag for an event or memory that you want to remember. Then post on your social media outlets as usual. Scrapsule pulls content with the chosen keyword or hashtag into the designated 'scrapsule' and displays it in a beautiful canvas for you to share. It's digital memory keeping made simple.
Currently, my co-founder and I have built the prototype which we're testing privately. The system pulls content from Facebook but we'd like to add Twitter and Instagram for the public beta.

Heather and I are recent graduates from Syracuse University and are making Scrapsule a reality. We're working on the system full time in Syracuse, New York.
