SceneChat is like Disqus – except for video.

It enables audiences to comment on and share any scene within a video. It grows audiences, increases on-site engagement and improves SEO.

Throught SceneChat's backend data collection content owners and publishers gain access to a wealth of viewing, sharing and commenting analytics that provide insight into audience interest while identifying the key influencers drawing others to a site.

Shawn G. Hopwood, co-founder & CEO, Mr. Hopwood is a Silicon Valley veteran with more than 15 years in digital media at such companies as Apple, Silicon Graphics, Dolby Laboratories, and a number of innovative startups. He was most recently the Director of Internet Technologies at Dolby where he oversaw product development for connected devices. He is a frequent speaker on the state of the industry and active panelist at technology conferences and trade events around the world, including U&S, Digital Hollywood, iHollywood, Seybold, MacWorld, as well as Apple and Intel Developer forums. Mr. Hopwood has been co- founder or early member of multiple startups, two of which were acquired for over $250MM.

Dr. Mark Sales, co-founder and CTO Over the course of his career, Dr. Sales has straddled the academic and business worlds. In academia, he pursued computational biophysics and received a Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley. He is the founder of StormWeaver, a successful web programming and consulting business with a network of satisfied clients.
