The site has become increasingly interactive, featuring a free reverse mortgage calculator, detailed reverse mortgage articles, and a forum where borrowers can ask questions or exchange information.  Reverse Mortgage Guides has reached out to lenders as well, including an industry blog, a free downloadable calculator lenders can implement on their websites, a directory of services, and a job board.

 

Coming from a corporate environment, Reverse Mortgage Guides could not be more different. With everything from Friday Fun Days, company-wide field trips and movie outings to the birthday surprises, candy bowl, and random office decorations, Reverse Mortgage Guides strives to be a fun place to come to work each day. One surprise birthday party featured all employees donning Batman masks, a Batman birthday cake, a Batman pinata, a silly string fight, and an excursion to go fly model airplanes in the middle of downtown Chicago. Another company party included Guitar Hero and Wii Sports, which was followed up by company-wide salsa lessons at a Latin restaurant.  Office space can further be customized however an employee desires, leading to "forts," decals on the walls, and doodles on the whiteboards. The work environment here is a little different, but it leads to our success.
