The First Kentucky Derby MusicBouts
A Living Reality Productions, LLC presents: The First Annual Kentucky Derby MusicBouts. This contest promises to be the most anticipated Derby Event of 2011. The MusicBouts contest will showcase local and regional musical talent from within the Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, and Tennessee areas. This event will be held on May 6th, 2011 at the Kentucky International Convention Center that seats during the Kentucky Derby weekend festivities. There will be two celebrity artist performing (opening act & intermission). The contest will consist of the top ten finishers from the free online contest of www.mbshine.com Name “SHINE”. The online contest will start mid-January. Contest entry will consist of the contestants performing the following steps: create a profile, create a group for voting purposes, and upload a video or music of their original music. The contestants must then get people to vote for them by joining their group (This sets up free promotion for the event). Top ten vote getters will perform at The Kentucky International Convention Center on Derby Eve. This event will be aired live on a local broadcasting television channel in the 4 states. There will be three overall winners for the contest: 1st place winner will receive $5,000; 2nd place winner will receive $2,000; and the 3rd place winner will receive $1,000. The winners will be picked by 4 locally well known judges with the fifth judge being the online members of MbShine.com & the sixth judge being the in-house audience. They will use a 1 to 10 point system, which the scores will be add to together and the artist with the top score at the end of the night wins and is crowned the First ever Kentucky Derby MusicBouts Champ!
Our website is already up and running and thing are in motion, we have reached out to Mainline Radio for partnership and we will be reaching out to all of the local TV networks because this event will be aired live on the local networks in Tenn., Ohio, KY, & IND. For example if these partnerships happen the event name will change slightly to The Mainline Radio & FOX First Annual Kentucky Derby MusicBouts.
