Mikkael Jackson September 05, 2007Its sad to say but its true. Get these people their own senior circle! It will work better than to mesh them into complicated sites like myspace or match.com. If you make it simple, they will come.

Matthias Schwarz September 05, 2007The market opportunity is so easy to recognize that I am surprised there's not more happening in this sector of the Internet. I'm not a fan of lengthy pitches but Nathaniel scores points for clearly outlining the target population and market potential. If there's one challenge I see then it must be the fact that the transitioning and retiring baby boomer segment did not grow up with Internet technology and is a comparably slower adopter of this new world. My mom is my prime example - although highly intelligent and extremely curious about new things, she's also easily overwhelmed by the vast amount of indiscernable offerings available. Interpretation of search results is a challenge, and finding organized content is not as trivial as it may seem. As for eGenerations.com, a few sample pages would be nice without having to sign up.
