MonetaSuite's productivity software addresses the knowledge workers' needs in two areas which are currently very underserved: First, knowing where you are spending your time. Many people are multi-tasking, with many of these discrete tasks taking under 10 mintes; people are losing track of where they are spending their time.  Our patent-pending software, which operates without the user having to start or stop a timer, or enter any data, works in the background:  It tags, tracks and reports the time a user spends in Email (Outlook), and in attachments to email, such as other MS Office productivity applications (Word and Excel).  For people who are required to track their time (for internal billing, cost/client charge back, or client billing), we make sure that the fragmented time spent doing many small tasks is aggregated and reported, by task, client, activity, etc. (the User can select, or pre-populate, tags).  Secondly, for Team Productivity, our software determines how the team functions on any particular project, so that the Manager of the Project can keep up-to-the-minute tabs on how the team is progressing:  Whether it is on track (time budgets), who is influential (and where duplication of input is occurring, and by whom), who outside of the defined team is participating and should be more involved, etc.  More efficient project management, by managing costly human resources, results in higher company profitability.  Third, our software provides intelligent and automatic correlation of assignments and deadlines sent by email and "to do",or "task" lists.
