James Citron - CEO, Co-Founder
James Citron is the CEO and Co-Founder of Mogreet. He is widely regarded as one of the foremost experts on mobile video and MMS in the United States, and is actively helping to shape the evolution of the mobile marketing and advertising industries. In 2011, James was appointed to the highly-esteemed Consumer Best Practices Committee of the Mobile Marketing Association.
In addition to founding and operating Mogreet, James is a frequent speaker at leading digital and mobile industry trade events (Mobile Marketing Association, CTIA, Ad:Tech, Red Herring Global 100, Dow Jones Wireless Innovations and the Milken Institute). He is a published author (Mobile Marketing for Dummies
, 2010), educator (regular guest lecturer at USC and UCLA Business Schools), and an advisor to early-stage companies.
Prior to Mogreet, James built a multi-million dollar mobile phone personalization business, which he launched globally with Motorola in over 25 countries across four continents. Earlier in his career, James worked as an investment banker at Deutsche Bank Securities where he advised large market capitalization telecommunications companies on mergers and acquisition strategies. Prior to Deusche Bank, James built one of the first college social networks. James is a graduate of Princeton University and in his spare time can be found at LA sporting events (Go Lakers!) or exploring Jazz venues across the globe.
Norm Schifman - CFO, Co-Founder
Norm Schifman is the Co-founder and Chief Financial Officer of Mogreet. He has been a successful entrepreneur and founder of numerous businesses in the media, advertising, software technology, and web based markets. As a board member and operating officer, his focus has been on value creation through the financing, strategic planning, and corporate development activities of these enterprises. Among his prior achievements have been involvement or management of Channel M, eMaiMai (sold to Clear Channel), Cinebase software (sold to Kodak/PNI), and Kistler Aerospace. When not working at Mogreet, Norm can be found spending time with his young grandson, cheering for the USC Trojans (his alma mater), or pacing the block on his mobile phone.
Anthony Rossano - CTO
Anthony Rossano is the CTO of Mogreet where he directs all backend, web, social network, widget, and messaging system software and development. Anthony manages all of Mogreet's digital and network operations, and researches new and innovative SMS, WAP, MMS, browser and handset app-based content technologies. A life-long technology entrepreneur, Anthony founded his first company in 1988, Pacific Computer Consulting (PCC), a pioneering multimedia and animation factory at the forefront of the CDROM, DVD and Internet revolution. He later joined Paramount Studios and Director Steve Oedekerk as a Technical Director at Omation Studios, where he established a new CG production facility and received film credit on the movie The Barnyard
. Rossano graduated from the University of Washington.
Scott Rogers - Vice President, Sales
Scott leads sales for Mogreet, specializing in top brand companies and retailers. He brings over 15 years experience in the advertising, entertainment and media industry, focusing primarily on sales and new business development for companies including Televisa Publishing International and Sony Pictures Television International. Prior to Mogreet, Scott was Sr. Director, Brand Solutions, at Hipcricket, where he sold mobile marketing programs to leading consumer brands like Dr. Pepper/Snapple, Nestle Waters and Miller/Coors. At Mogreet, Scott is responsible for our work with Macy’s, Charlotte Russe and other recognizable brands. He earned his BA/BS from the University of California at Santa Barbara. When not at Mogreet, Scott can be found at home in Orange County with his wife and two daughters.
Patrick Mahoney - Vice President, Strategy & Business Development
Patrick is responsible for strategic partnerships in Media & Entertainment and launching the company's new online-to-mobile sharing platform, moShare. Patrick manages many of Mogreet's large Network and Studio partners, including Fox Broadcasting, Red Bull Media House and The Walt Disney Company.
Prior to joining Mogreet in 2011, Patrick served as a long-term advisor to Mogreet through his consultancy, Connected Strategic Partners. Patrick founded CSP in 2007 and consulted industry leaders and innovators including WilliamMorrisEndeavor, Huffington Post, and Attention Span.
Previously, he worked in business development for Disney/ABC TV’s Digital Media Group. Patrick was involved with the development of many of the first mobile initiatives for the network including the first mobile games of Desperate Housewives and Lost, the fist mobile WAP site for the Oscars, and the first on-air SMS campaign for Dancing with the Stars.
