Description of company :

Mediasoft d.o.o. was born as technological spin-off from E-Tree d.o.o. which was owned by ETNOTEAM group from Milan and after acquiring experience abroad introduced new Enterprise Portal Platform from US company ATG (Art Technology Group) Mediasoft d.o.o. is a company that sold first Enterprise Portal Platform to one of the most Importan Slovenian Bank and this is also the first platform sold in Slovenia and others ex-Yugoslav republic.

So personal is skilled mainly to work and develop B2B,B2C,B2E applications on with ATG platform.Other technology that  Mediasoft d.o.o. works with are mostly open source technologies that are Java Based (Tomcat , Jboss, MySql) so we are also developing internet/intranet applications also on free application servers where the client needs requires that.

We are mainly exporting our services while now we see the potential also on Eastern European markets as we are approaching EU actively.

We finished developing in collaboration with Novell Italy a B2B portal on open source technologies (Tomcat/MySql) for agricultural industry for one of the most important Italian group called Gruppo Granarolo (AgriOk - http://www.tdc.agriok.it/ )      

For Slovenian bank Banka Koper d.d. we did constant developement B2B and B2E applications on ATG Enterprise Portal Suite mentioned above.We did performed complex development of distributed integration of ERP banking applications (using web services or DCOM) bringing those applications to central Enterprise Portal Suite.

Together in the recent past we also worked with SDG Engineering on Snaidero B2E Intranet/Extranet Projects - The company have several plans to grove this year employing new personell  befor the end of 2005 year.As new job openings coming from the United States partner we are targeting USA market now.

Finally, We can describe our company as experienced server side J2EE/J2ME  programmers specialized in building applications for internet/intranet (Enterprise Portals) using all the time java technologies (jsp,servlets,EJB,html,javascript,WSDL,SOAP) working with world established standards and databases like Oracle , DB2 and MS SQL and MySql.

Kristian Umek  (Owner and co-founder) Born 21.06.1972 at Koper, Slovenia  Graduated at Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in Maribor . He is CTO within the Mediasoft company acting like Project Manager. Kristian Umek has extensive knowledge of J2EE standard developing Java applications from 1999. He has extensive knowledge of Open Source App.Server as Tomcat app. Server and Atg Dynamo commercial platform.Good programming skills using Java Servlets , EJB 2.1, Java Beans , Javascript, Java Applets, J2ME DHTML,XML,XSLT,SOAP and WSDL as new technologies.Kristian have good experience in project Management and architecturing various types of solutions when it comes to Internet Technologies as he spent a lot of time in Italy working on big Internet projects like for example  Locat when he did extensive implementation with J2EE working for the First  Automized European  Internet Leasing at that time.

Zlatko Vukovic (CEO & Founder) Born 23.01.1967 at Koper, Slovenian Graduated as Maritime Communications Electronics Engineer (W.O.)  J2ME - Faculty of Maritime Transportation at Rijeka (Croatia) Zlatko performs all marketing activities, coordinating activities and also programming activities when neccessary and running out of human resources.Zlatko has extensive knowledge developing server side applications as well as clients written in OO Java Programming Language.Zlatko has been taking part of big Italian internet projects when working for E-Tree in Treviso.He also founded in Slovenia in the past a mixed Italian - Slovene company with Italian partners.He has good experience in handling clients and promoting interesting products so he is active a lot in sales activities working on EU territory in general.

Gregor Pozar born 26.04.1975 at Koper , Slovenian Graduated at Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Ljubljana is fully engaged external collaborator working strictly for Mediasoft d.o.o. started as junior programmer but now passed the initial phase of learning is considered already Senior Programmer.Gregor has extensive knowledge of Open Source App.Server as Tomcat and commercial app. Server ATG Dynamo.Gregor act as senior programmer using Java Servlets , EJB 2.1, Java Beans , Javascript, Java Applets, DHTML,XML,XSLT,SOAP and WSDL as new technologies.Gregor has been joined Mediasoft since very beginning and tooked a part in many developments for Italian market.He have good programming skills and extensive experience in improvisation when looking for right programming soloution  and implementation tasks using J2EE.
