homemade medicinal soap ,no chemicals .I make and sell home made soap ,on line and at small farmers markets in maine, i make the soap myself from scratch( no melt and pour here), i make it in small batches in a crock pot just like my great grandmother used to make hers in searsport maine back in the 1800's except i dont think she used a crock pot she cooked hers on a fire , and yes it is made with lye (sodium hydroxide) which is not a chemical, but it is a product  of wood ash, i also use essential oils, olive oil, coconut oil vegetable oil & my own home grown herbs
