Company description

LeanTaaS is a software company that uses lean principles, machine learning and predictive analytics to increase patient access, decrease wait times, improve staff satisfaction, reduce healthcare delivery costs, and improve operational performance.  LeanTaaS's cloud-based iQueue platform mathematically matches the demand for expensive, constrained healthcare resources – operating rooms, infusion chairs, imaging assets, inpatient beds, etc. – with supply.

Competitive advantage
  • Product: Our products have been designed in collaboration with some of the nation’s largest hospitals such as Stanford and UCHealth. Since our products are data driven, the learning, monitoring, and refinements inherent in our products represent a unique and unfair advantage.
  • Technology: While machine learning and predictive analytics alone are not unique differentiators, the field testing and refinements we have done, combined with the lean principles we have learned over two decades, makes our technology superior. We have several PhDs in the company who work with lean experts to solve problems. Our CEO was a Sr. Partner at McKinsey for 18 years and co-developed the lean service operations practices at McKinsey. He brings a vast amount of real-world experience that other companies lack.
  • Sales: We have CXO level access to large hospital chains through the networks of our executive team, our investors, board members, and a strong circle of prominent supporters. We have been able to engage with hospitals, prove ROI, and close sales very successfully.
