The concept of empowering a younger generation as change-agents is still relatively recent in the social entrepreneurship world. KooDooZ is a "cause-based" social networking site which lays down the foundation for middle and high school kids to understand how to articulate and act upon their own values, motivations and passions.
By linking motivated KDZ (our site users) with forward-thinking foundations and nonprofits, youth can become catalysts for change amongst a conscious community -- and just as importantly -- can track their service hours on KooDooZ.
Lee Fox is a passionate entrepreneur, team builder and humanitarian. She enjoys walking the tightrope of innovation at the intersections of entertainment, technology and new media where she has taken title as CEO (internet/mobile); VP of Marketing (professional services); Content Creator (brand management); and Writer / Associate Director (consumer TV). Lee actively sits on for-profit & non-profit boards and was the chair of the American Technology Association’s Los Angeles Council — the nation’s largest non-profit technology trade association.
Lee champions social innovation (both personal & brand) via public speaking engagements and by leveraging online media to emphasize the importance of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), cause marketing and youth empowerment. Currently, Lee is the Founder and Chief Innovation Officer for KooDooZ, Inc., with the mission of turning the good will and passions of KDZ (“kids”) into skills and strategies for creating change.
Lee has devoted her spare time to volunteering by teaching mommy-and-me classes, coaching and mentoring youth. She received two BA degrees from University of Southern California (USC) , and continues to reside in sunny So. Cal with her husband and three KDZ.
Designed as a “virtual meets virtuous” social
networking site, KDZ (our site users) can create and share their own challenges
using the KooDooZ goal-setting graphical wizard, or they can take on community
cause-based challenges, rich in social-impact, for service credit.
