Executive Bios

Kevin B. Howard, Co-Founder and CEO

As the Co-Founder and CEO of Internet Connectivity Group (I.C.G.), Howard acts as the primary responsible for the strategic direction of the company. I.C.G. is a wireless hardware developer and service solutions provider based on wireless broadband infrastructure (3G&4G cellular data and 802.11n+ WiFi) initially specializing in the Digital Signage and Healthcare verticals.

Prior to founding I.C.G., Howard worked in finance and technology related fields for over 14 years. He specialized in asset management, venture capital and corporate guidance while acting as a Vice President or above at Wells Fargo's Private Client Group, UBS Financial and Smith Barney. Beyond his extensive Finance background, Howard has owned and operated businesses in a wide spectrum of sectors. These include, but are not limited to, a professional motocross team and a bio-fuel firm. During Howard's tenure consulting corporations he primarily worked in the wireless field where he assisted firms such as Top Global Technologies, Ltd. Howard has also held board positions with numerous privately held corporations.

Howard was an attendee of Colorado State University where he majored in Communications.Howard resides in Laguna Niguel, CA with his wife and daughter.

Kurtis S. Van Horn, Jr., Co-Founder and President

Serving as I.C.G.'s Co-Founder and President, Van Horn's primary emphasis is on revenue generation and increasing corporate profitability by implementing cost-saving alternatives. His experience stems from various leadership positions within the sales and marketing arenas.

Van Horn brings a decade of experience from the corporate financial services and technology arenas. He shares business interest with Kevin Howard (CEO of I.C.G.) and they have worked together at firms such as Wells Fargo's Private Client Group, UBS Financial and Smith Barney. Previously, he has overseen and advised in the growth of several start-up and mid-sized companies, including negotiating and brokering various merger and acquisition activities.

Gordon J. Davidson, Chief Operating Officer

As the COO of I.C.G., Davidson is responsible for creating and optimizing I.C.G.'s Product Development, Legal, Finance, Distribution, and Operations organizations to meet the massive growth and rapid expansion plans of I.C.G.

Davidson is an experienced telecom executive that brings over 30 years industry experience to I.C.G. Formerly at Novatel Wireless, he was responsible for leading record sales to wireless operators in the Americas and Asia as well as heading the PC OEM business. Before joining Novatel Wireless, Davidson acted as the Sales Executive responsible for Americas at Ericsson where he secured key CDMA system sales in North and South America. Prior to Ericsson, Davidson was in charge of establishing the CDMA QSource services and support products business worldwide with key wins in the Americas and Asia at Qualcomm. Before joining Qualcomm, he acted as Vice President and General Manager at AccessLine Technologies. He began his career with Bell Canada where he held senior positions in sales, operations, engineering and finance. Davidson has held board positions with several privately held corporations.

Davidson was an attendee of Fanshawe College, London, where he studied Business Administration.

Jason N. Tamashiro, General Counsel

As General Counsel for I.C.G., Tamashiro is responsible for corporate and legal transactions, working with global and domestic outside counsel, participating in developing corporate policy, providing continuing guidance on legal matters and assisting executives to ensure that I.C.G. conducts business in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

 

Tamashiro has assisted a broad spectrum of companies placing a particular emphasis on growth and start-up companies. Prior to private practice, while at state and nationwide law firms, he represented companies in a broad variety of litigation matters, including contract disputes, product liability and securities litigation/arbitration for broker-dealers such as Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley DW, Inc. before major self-regulatory organizations including the NASD, NYSE and PCX.

 

Tamashiro graduated with a B.A. in Economics and Business Management from University of California, Irvine and with a J.D. from Loyola Law School.

Mick Conley, Vice President of Product Development

As Vice President of Product Development with I.C.G., Conley is responsible for leading I.C.G.'s overall product roadmap and development processes to assure product offerings are aligned with industry technologies and advancements. Conley brings more than 20 years of senior executive experience in startup, new product introduction and fortune 100 company environments. His process and leadership skills are critical to I.C.G.'s Product Development team in speeding deployment and minimizing cycle time.

Most recently, Conley was Director of Software Development and QA at Xirrus, Inc., an enterprise WiFi hardware and software vendor, where he built the Software, QA and Tech Support departments from the ground up while implementing structure and process in areas of prototyping, patent submissions and overall development life-cycles. Prior to Xirrus, Inc., Conley served as Vice President of Engineering & Product Development at Nomadix, Inc., and managed the growth of key engineering resource and procedure standards to match a growing global user base and was instrumental in key customer acquisition via enhanced sales engineering practices. Conley has also held senior executive positions with industry leaders such as Intel/Xircom, ADC Fibermux, Motorola, Cardkey Systems and ITT.

Conley holds a BSBA from the University of Phoenix with Honors.

Business model

I.C.G.'s self-contained, turnkey MobileMedia SystemTM eliminates the need for two, three or more unique and disparate components by bundling a 3G/4G wireless network module, a WiFi router, an integrated media player and hard drive. The MobileMedia SystemTM enables cached content to be streamed directly to our ViFi AdapterTM, for output to virtually any type of display screen. The second element in the solution is the ViFi AdapterTM, which receives the audio and video content over WiFi from the MobileMedia SystemTM and is compatible with nearly any type of display. Supporting all media and content formats, as well as any Windows or Linux-based content management software, I.C.G.'s solution allows digital information to be multicast to numerous displays simultaneously
