Rob Barrett, CEO
Rob spent his early career intechnology and business consulting, having managed a national supply chainconsulting practice at KPMG Consulting before being recruited to a CrosspointVentures-backed start-up, E2open, in 2001. During his eight years at E2open, Rob held numerous roles aspart of management team including Head of Product Management, VP of Solutions,VP of Business Development, and head of the Aerospace & Defensevertical. He helped establishE2open as the leading provider of Software-as-a-Service (Saas) supply chainapplications. Most recently, hewas the VP of Sales & Business Development where he secured multi-milliondollar contracts and successful global deployments at companies such as Dell,IBM, Motorola, Vodafone, Raytheon, Embraer, and Boeing. As a passionatesoftware developer and avid social media user Rob saw a need to redefine theway social media works at a local level, truly integrating local businesseswith people in the community that are looking for advice and recommendations.
Michael Greenspon, CTO
Michael's background withdistributed computing predates the formation of the internet. Hissoftware development, architecture and consulting experience spans a diverseclient and partner list including Apple, IBM, Sun, and Object Design as well assmaller local companies such as Major Fulfillment (a vertically integratedtravel industry marketer) and Abacus Concepts (developer of award-winningStatView, acquired by SAS Institute.) Michael co-founded and served as CTO ofProclivity which partnered with AT&T's EW3 division and architected thefirst e-commerce web portal for Toys-R-Us, the leading $11B US retailer. Asfounder and CTO of Sequin, Michael delivered groundbreaking web interactivityand architecture to startup mPower.com for their innovative SaaS investmentplanning platform which was subsequently acquired by market leader Morningstar.During his tenure at Sequin, Michael also architected and delivered Sequin'sMarketVista high frequency market data server and visualization platform foruse by Charles Schwab's flagship CyberTrader division which it acquired for$488m. Michael holds an MS-EECS with a minor in statistics and machine learningfrom UC Berkeley, where he was a National Science Foundation graduate fellow.
