Company description

IGOpeople is a network for consumer and businesses, to promote customer conversations. Social media based customer care, selling and insight gathering.

Getting touch with a business can be really frustrating, often being passed around a voice response system. But it's really easy to keep in touch with friends and colleagues using social media.

IGOpeople makes it easy to get in touch with organisations, to ask questions, report problems, review promotion and offer feedback.

Team

Campbell Scott - CEO - 25 years senior marketing and strategy roles in telco sector - O2 and eircom.

Cormac Horan - Founder and COO - fund management experience and lecturer in internet and economics

Fergal Byrne - Chairman and CEO of Irish Internet Association

Dr. Edward de Bono - Non-Exec' Director - author and promoter of lateral thinking and creative thinking.

Business model
Business users are charged a  license fee. This is priced per user at €20pm.
Competitive advantage

IGOpeople is the only network that brings businesses and their customers together in an open network. Businesses can promote products and services, offer customer support and listen to what customers are saying.

IGOpeople also offers business a way to manage their twitter conversations with customers, managing message queues, recording conversation history and allowing multiple representatives to respond to customers using twitter.
