iKiRETA is a small startup, thats focused on online classifieds advertising. We at iKiRETA are trying to take online Classifieds to the next generation by focusing on better user interface, faster search, completely localized software and multimedia integration with Ads. We are not focusing on commercial gains, but on better concepts and innovations in the online classifieds market. We believe gains will follow if we build a quality product.

This is my first entry into the business world... I am 22 years old, and have a degree of Bachelors in Computer Science... I am the single owner of iKiRETA right now... 

I want my products to change the online classifieds market... 

 

Since lack of funds is a huge issue hence I am also willing (but not eager) to sell my software with full resell rights to a buyer if given a right price for it...

Gaining through web traffic and online Ads is not our primary aim. We want to give this application free as a service to people (like Craigslist). Once we reach a critical mass and cross that threshold, we can charge corporations for their Ads, but this service will always remain free for the people.

Online classifieds is a billion dollar business, and everyone is trying to make a place in the market... But most online classified websites have the following disadvantages...

 1. Click/PageView ratio is high

 2. Lack media rich Ads

 3. Slow 

 4. Still today most classifieds website have a Web 1.0 interface

 5. Most classifieds website run as websites but not desktop applications

 

iKiRETA Classifieds tackles these problems very effectively...

 1. Frequently clicked items are already set into iKiRETA's Classified App, like cities, sections, and subsections... thus lowering the Click/PageView ratio

 2. Media capabilities are present as according to the browser's installed plugins...

 3. Fast searching is enabled, database is based on SQlite which has faster searching capabilities than mySQL, also data transfer from server to client has been minimized through program optimization...

 4. The interface is compatible with general web 2.0 guidelines

 5. Integrates the classifieds as a desktop application, thereby increasing speed, and reducing ambiguity...
