About
Company description

Groupable is a Web site that offers a platform to social groups that allows them to connect with potential sponsors and manage the resulting relationships.  The site, which acts as an online marketplace, lets groups post free profiles that can be seen by both local and nationally based companies/sponsors.

Team

CEO Nate Brochin has more than 10 years of entrepreneurial and leadership experience founding and leading companies that have been at the nexus of technology and advertising. An accomplished corporate strategist and marketer, his vision and expertise have helped create nearly $2 billion in shareholder value during a 10-year span (Rare Medium, Savos, 12Snap, Inc.).

Business model

In the past, groups had to touch base with local advertisers through old fashioned networking or cold calling. Groupable eliminates this need by providing an online marketplace for groups and sponsors to meet.

The Groupability Index, a propritarty alogrith created by Groupable, allows sponsors to dig deep into dozens of groups at a time, armed with demographic and psychographic information that is auto-generated based on the general categories of that group and the activity that it supports.

Competitive advantage

Though there are several competitors in the marketplace today, no other company than Groupable laser focuses on groups and micro-sponsorship.
