Over 60 million women are now participating in endurance sports like running, triathlon, cycling and duathlon. They have gone from representing less than 20% of a running race's population to over 57% of one today.
GOTRIbal is the destination network for them to connect, learn from and talk with each other about their journeys, challenges and specific needs. GOTRIbal, a women owned company, connects them with each other, and the brands they love, so they can maintain healthy, active lifestyles.
Women members are now in 19 countries and 45 states. A national conference in October attracted international and national sponsors, who are leaders in their categories, to come and represent at the Conference. We are content contributors to espnW, a new brand of ESPN dedicated exclusively to women athletes and fans.
Our next stage is to develop two new ways to connect this customer with their favorite things and infromation:
a. Their own mobile app that will be a SuperHero to the issues and challenges facing women athletes on-the-go. It will leverage the behaviors they do naturally and monetize them for enhancing their own experiences and bringing value to the brands that engage GOTRIbal.
b. Our unique event experiences. Women-Only Conferences and one-day events that serve up more than an 'athletic' event. Bringing brands and women together in a safe, educational and experiential way; and gives customers a full sensory experience; taste, feel, smell, touch and hearing.
Social Networking model: for all women to connect and empower each other through their shared passion and love of endurance sports.
1. Mobile applications - monetizing behaviors that are natural and specific to this female athletic audience
2. Interactive, digital media that is web-based and on mobile devices that allow brands to "talk" and interact with the highly targeted, and influential, demographic of the users on the site.
3. Global events; conference and races for women endurance athletes on women specific health and sport-lifestyle issues and challenges.
Chief Ambassador is 3x World Champion athlete and world record holder in triathlon ironman distance.
Founder: Been an athlete for 30 years; collegiate swimmer, and competitive endurance athlete for 10 years. Know endurance sport industry well and many connections and relationships in it.
Professional History as a biologist, university educator, researchers and then 10 years in leadership and executive development.
