Gathr

Gathr is democratizing theatrical distribution by facilitating it from the bottom-up. We are a web-based service that enables people to request their own theatrical screenings of a movie that otherwise would not be available at a theater near them. Movie-goers reserve their tickets by pre-authorizing their credit cards (but, they are not charged until/unless the screening 'tips'). A minimum reservation threshold must be achieved in order to guarantee the screening before the screening request expires.

We are also a full service film distribution company that assists the marketing and outreach of these screenings, the booking of the theaters (including traditional booking engagements), and the delivery of the film assets for exhibition.
