Eyes 4 Lives, Inc. located in the City of La Habra, CA, is an optical device company that invented a solution to effectively monitor an individual’s screen interaction in an effort to reduce myopia (nearsightedness) and digital eye strain. We are dedicated to improve eye health and to spread awareness of the detrimental ocular effects from electronic viewing devices in the growing digital world.

The mission of our company is to provide a market-ready medical/consumer electronic device that is convenient to use and provides intrinsic qualities that are beneficial to visual longevity and quality of life. It is patented in the U.S. and Taiwan, and patent-pending in China and in Europe. We have the first and the only device that effectively monitor an individual screen interaction in real time to minimize issues that can lead to Myopia, Digital Eye Strain and electronic device induced Dry Eye.

There are numerous ways people have attempted to deal with eye strain, myopia, and dry eyes, such as prescriptions glasses, glare reducing coatings, eye drops, vocational training, and timing software. None of these are as preventative nor effective as our system. The use of our device, Dr. i-Coach, ensures accountability and responsiveness. Technological differentiation (timers, blink rate analyzer, distance control, environmental light monitor, and sitting height) sets us apart from any competition.

Dr. i-Coach is a patented one-of-a kind sensor and software package that can help users develop and maintain proper computer habits. Our device monitors the user's blink rate,viewing distance, sitting position and posture, and a break reminder. Our target customers are anyone who spends 3 hours or more a day in front of computer, and our sales channel are through trusted intermediaries such as eye care specialists, workers comp insurance companies, and large scale employers.

Business model

We are focusing on two channels currently. The first one is through our trusted network of eye care professionals. The second channel is in the field of corporate ergonomics. Once we can get some traction with our product, we will negotiate licensing deals with OEM companies for the built-in version of our device.

This is the first and only device in the world that offers a full scope of functions designed to minimize Digital Eye Strain. It is designed by a U.S. eye doctor, tested here in the U.S., and will be assembled here as well for our future devices.
