Company description
Emergent’s Instinct Engine™ allows companies to see around the corner and get ahead of hackers by predicting where they are most likely to be attacked tomorrow. Using advanced machine learning and emergent AI risk algorithms, it explores thousands of loss scenarios to identify the cyber intrusions that could create the biggest impacts. Cybersecurity risk is communicated relative to an organization’s defined cyber risk appetite – set by the board and used by management to maintain cyber risk within acceptable tolerance thresholds. The Emergent Instinct EngineTM uses a lightweight integration with existing enterprise data sources and swarm-based machine learning to identify the most likely paths to the highest impacting events, and projects annual dollar-loss impact expectancy from probable cybersecurity incident scenarios. Cyber risk managers then use a risk-based cost justification and estimated value-at-risk to identify major sources of risk within their organization, and align their budgets and activities appropriately. The result is that business line owners and other executives (CFO, CRO, COO) own their Digital Risk Management responsibilities, just like they currently manage other existing business operations (quality management, financial management, schedule management, etc.). This empowers and enables all business lines to also be responsible for managing their own cyber risk.
