ECD REG

A stand alone application used for the recording of dispensed and received controlled drugs.  Also providing running balances, auditing functions and patient profiles/history.  Electronic CD Registers are legal and can be used within your practice.  This application is the first of its kind.  Currently in the UK only written controlled drug records are made.  And as electronic record keeping may become mandatory this would be a good idea. 

The program has been viewed by the Home Office in the Uk and BETA tested in several pharmacies within the UK.  Home Office saw no problem with the program and reccommended a few changes to wording within the tables.  Most BETA testers found the program easy to use and no major problems were encountered.

Work on this project was stopped due to lack of interest/funding,  however I am hoping someone likes the program.  If there was further interest and/or funding im sure the program can be developed further, otherwise its just a waste idea.
