In 1989, Kendall Truitt was a young Navy sailor aboard the USS Iowa. On April 19th, the USS Iowa’s second turret exploded, killing 47. Kendall performed heroically during the aftermath and his actions on that day helped prevent additional causalities. Kendall has worked in technical sales and project management with a focus on operations for the past 20 years at Atlas Copco, IPS, Digital Recorders, and Twin Vision. Sam Brubaker is a 20-year-old animator, designer, and composer. He is currently majoring in Art and Design at NC State University. Sam uses exclusively free software. He builds characters that are modeled and rendered in Blender, with layout and speech bubbles in Inkscape and image editing is done with GIMP- all under a flavor of Ubuntu Linux.
