Company description

The Problem: After using cash people either misplace their change or store it away forever instead of putting that money to work.

The Solution: Consumers scan our application at the cash register, and vualá, instead of carrying coins around all day that money is sent to your "Changed Account".

Our Purpose: To help the average consumer save money by eliminating physical coin currency.

Example: Lets say you go to Starbucks and order a "Grande Pike", the coffee costs $2.10 and you hand the barista $3 cash. Normally you would receive 3 quarters, 1 dime, and a nickel at best. Well, instead of having to lug around $0.90 in change all day you could scan your Changed app and instead have the $0.90 sent to your account.

We hope to 'change' the world one purchase at a time.

Business model

Monetization: Our business plan to monetization is to take 1% or 1 penny off every dollar of every transaction we perform. We believe we are creating more value for the consumers than we are taking by helping them save and put to use the money that would have been neglected.

Competitive advantage
  • Scalability: This business would be incredibly easy to scale quickly.
  • Value Added: We are creating value that would help everyone.
