CareerWaze is an AI driven career navigation platform helping people acquire in demand skills by providing a curated view of evolving skills, career options and personalized learning recommendations. Acting as a “Google for Learning,” CareerWaze uses AI technologies like Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing and Skill graph to scan, analyze and categorize content from job postings and multiple learning sources like Coursera, Udemy, Udacity, Edx, YouTube, Slideshare, Bootcamps, Meetups, Quora, StackExchange etc.

Users can explore curated skill domains (AI, BigData, Cloud, Mobile, DevOps, Leadership, Digital Marketing etc) or career roles or career maps to understand the marketplace and thier options. They can then choose a skill to learn or a Career goal they want to achieve. CareerWaze then analyzes the user's profile against their goal and recommends available learning options to acquire the skills needed to reach that goal.

This is especially meaningful today because technology is changing way too rapidly and it’s a huge challenge to keep up with the market as far as skills go. On the other hand learning options and content are also proliferating, and users have no guidance in navigating the confusing maze of choices. CareerWaze solves this problem and in doing so levels the playing field for professionals both within the workforce and outside, regardless of degree, school, race, gender or age.

Subscriptions
Currently we charge Enterprises $10/user/month up to 500 users and $5/user/month for 500 to 5, 000 users and flexible Enterprise Licensing. We also are doing partnerships with course providers for lead generation, for example we are doing a partnership with Udemy which is doing a 40% revenue share.

Competitive advantage

Today people go to individual course providers like our founder did when she wanted to learn Artificial Intelligence and soon they pause and stop learning because they didn't know that was the right course for them. So there are individual online course providers or MOOCs like EDx, Udacity, Coursera, Udemy where people go to and they have no clue if it's the right course for them. We take that complexity away by having a AI model developed by our PHD holder in NLP, Dr Stefan Bordag who is our Machine Learning Guru. The model knows the skills people have as they sign up and learn and it studies the behavior of learning and then makes the right recommendations from across the net. As people rate these courses on our platform the recommendations change. We also have an Explore Skills and Explore Roles feature and a Peer Learner and Quiz Me feature which leads to me more learning and exploration of different skills that are going to be important in the next decade or so.
