Problem:
Boqa is democratized opinion polling, one highest-ranked topic per day, that seeks to disrupt the antiquated model of phone polling while simultaneously solving the internet user’s problem of not truly knowing how they compare to, or stand out from, other people on the issues that matter most to them.
Boqa allows people to compare themselves using the same types of demographic metrics as professional polls - metrics which have never before been available to an individual like location, income, education, race, and even fun ways like hair color, popularity, or height. Most importantly, it shows the user how they relate to their friends, family, people with similar interests, and even people near where they live thereby allowing users to connect to like-minded people and understand those they already know in a completely new way.
By providing the user with the control over insight into themselves we can then provide consumers with a rich set of real-time,customizable, trackable, and defendable data about their specific market in a completely new way.
Solution:
Gamification mechanics inspire users to engage with the site and with friends in their social networks while also encouring users to fill out their profile in new, fun, and interesting ways to see how they fit in, our stand out. Viral tactics enhance user acquisition via social networks.
Demographic data is made available to consumers in a revolutionary “off the shelf” way allowing them to refine the information they purchase based on immediate needs whilealso making digital demographic data available to previously untouched markets.
Market:
Demographic data purchasers including Politicians, Journalists and the Media, Economists, Advertisers, Small and Large Businesses, Academics, the Government, Bloggers, as well as the generally interested individual (its priced that well)who want affordable, truly customizable, real-time, statistically-relevant, and defendable data that tracks user’s opinions over time and across issues.
