BitTorrent allows for easing video viewing and downloading on the Internet by sharing and distributing data files ("torrent" files), making it easier as more parts become available from more sources, using little bandwidth to do the transfer.
Team
Bram Cohen, CEO and co-founder. Bram also co-founded CodeCon and co-authored Codeville. Prior to BitTorrent, Bram worked at MojoNation, which allowed people to break up confidential files into encrypted chunks. Ashwin Navin is the other co-founder.
