- Television Shows - There are mainstream shows such as The View, Oprah and Ellen DeGeneres. However, none of these cater to the South Asian NRI community. All programming on South Asian networks is either Bollywood oriented, extremely localized or news. There is no lifestyle talk show for the international NRI community.
- Content Portals - There are a few content portals that are trying to target South Asians, but most are very niche on a very specific topic. None of these have emerged as a dominant
player with significant traffic.
- Flash Commerce Companies - There is one company, Exclusively.
in that is targeting the South Asian demographic with deals on South Asian products and services. They are focused solely on high end products from India and do not have any kind of media presence. The other flash commerce companies are also internet only (no tv show) and do not target the South Asian market.
