WineTasteTV is the leading wine television channel on the web today, featuring a vast library of on-demand, broadcast-quality video programs. We also offer a comprehensive set of wine related features including blogs, news, tasting notes, social tools, and a glossary with pronunciation guide and definitions. Our entertaining and informative programs provide wine lovers - from the first-time buyer to the experienced collector - with a complete wine experience. In addition to building out the WineTasteTV portal, we have deployed a multi-platform distribution strategy, leveraging traditional online video services and mobile services to deliver our content through phones, PDAs, and other devices.

WineTasteTV is a creation of ChannelWorksTV. LLC, a producer of branded Internet channels and rich-media websites. ChannelWorksTV is a subsidiary of TEAM, a Washington, D.C.-based television production and services company whose clients include PBS, Discovery Communications, A&E Networks, Fox and National Geographic.

Ernest Crow (Founder & Chairman):
Ernie brings 30 years of television experience to WineTasteTV. For the past 15 years he has worked in a strategic development role for TEAM and now serves as its President. Recently he launched the ChannelWorksTV division of TEAM and developed MyPathTV, a destination Internet TV channel for the mind, body, spirit audience. Under his direction, TEAM has played critical roles in the launch of numerous cable channels such as Animal Planet, Discovery Health Channel, BBC America and TVOne. Along the way, TEAM has amassed an impressive array of industry recognition ranging from national Emmys to Promax/BDA awards.

Roger Marmet (Co-Founder & President):
Roger is a media executive with leadership experience across content creation, business strategy, marketing and promotion. With more than 20 years in the television industry, he has spearheaded the dramatic growth of brand value in a variety of positions. Previous to joining TEAM, he worked for Discovery Communications as Executive Vice President and General Manager of The Learning Channel. During Roger's tenure TLC became one of cable's top networks.

Laura Levy (Vice President, Strategic Partnerships):
Laura is a veteran food and wine critic for the Chicago Reader Newspaper and is also the Executive Producer and Food/Wine Critic for “Taste,” a 30-minute food and wine show on WMAQ, NBC5 Chicago. Following emerging trends in the rich media landscape, Ms. Levy Shatkin brought the Taste library of broadcast quality food and wine segments onto the Internet for on-demand viewing via the creation and launch of WinePeeks.tv. Since WinePeeks.tv’s inception, over three-dozen Internet sites have requested syndication rights and through Brightcove.com, the site is accessible on Yahoo Video and AOL Video. WinePeeks.tv now merges with WineTasteTV, and the two brands move forward as WineTasteTV with Ms. Levy Shatkin bringing her considerable skills to the venture. Laura is a partner in WineTasteTV.

Douglas Donaldson (Vice President, Business Development):
Doug brings 20 years experience developing, producing, licensing and distributing television and rich media content. Doug has held senior positions at Cerebellum Corporation, New River Media, and Films for the Humanities and Sciences. He has served a client list which includes Microsoft Corporation, Clear Channel Entertainment Television, Conde Nast Publications, Fountain Mobile, Digital Cinema Solutions, Educate, Inc., Roadtrip Nation and Look-Look, a youth research and marketing firm.

Jody Weiss (Vice President, Production):
Jody brings to WineTasteTV over 8 years of experience in television production and management. She has tackled a wide range of production challenges both on location and in the studio while servicing clients as diverse as BBC America, Coors Brewing, TLC and NBC. She has managed the day-to-day operations of major network promotion departments, directed design and animation teams and consulted with internal corporate production departments on improving their business. Jody brings the perfect combination of organizational skills and industry know-how necessary to keep the WineTasteTV team on track.

Bien Concepcion (Chief Developer and Technologist):
Bien writes the code that makes it all go. WineTasteTV runs on a proprietary platform that seamlessly marries Internet television with a seamless e-commerce experience. The technology developed and managed by Bien and his team insures the highest quality viewing and consumer experience to be found on the Internet.
