Online Communities Build Loyalty
Corporations today are finding that they can retain customers, build brand loyalty, and increase revenues by creating online communities for their end users and business partners. Market savvy companies are integrating social networking concepts into their websites and are developing online communities to attract and retain consumers as well as drive online sales.
These online communities promote viral growth and allow customers to interact with others who have similar interests. This is a source for both building relationships and capturing valuable marketing information about customers, products and competitors. Social networking and online communities also provide a highly-targeted marketing channel to reach a target audience. Online communities are increasingly becoming part of the customer marketing and service strategy.
