Marcus was born in 1975 in Hagen, Germany. He has a Diploma in Computer Science and is co-founder of the Peperoni Mobile & Internet Software GmbH. As their Chief Operating Officer, he is responsible for the international business development of the company he co-runs since 1997. Ladwig has expertise also in community moderation and sales and thus helps proliferate the "Mobile internet for everyone" company philosophy both in the business and consumer world. One of his major current goals is to internationalize the peperonity.com community and bring new features and developments across to the target audiences.
