Company description
Swept Away Media was started in 2000 by sisters Jaime and Amanda Rich who wanted to start an organization that trains interested teenagers in video and media production skills. In the past 9 years over 4000 teenagers and college students have learned the skills of video production by actually producing shows, interviews and projects for the 67 stations and 4500 colleges that air their program "The Rock Star Stories". From that single show an internet network LOONATICTv was born. LoonaticTv airs content produced by young video producers all over the world as well as music videos, comedy sketches, video games and movie feature interviews and reviews. We also organize guerilla promotion projects for various advertisers interested in reaching the huge teen and college markets. We have teams in the Miami-Ft Lauderdale and Chicago markets with hopes to add Cleveland, Los Angeles and New York City in Fall 2009.
