Company description
Ink Burst is an online community for greeting card
artists and consumers. Artists upload card designs, users rate their
favorites, and the top designs can be sent as e-cards. The site is currently free and in beta.
Business model
Consumers send 7 billion paper greeting cards and 350 million online e-cards every year. Only a fraction of these cards are geared towards individuals age 18-30, yet, this is the same age group that has shown the level of value they place in keeping in touch with friends and family through email, SMS, and social networks.
Ink Burst allows users to easily search a huge collection of funny, hip, and artistic cards created by artists - both professional and amateur.
