An accomplished executive, Nancy Goebel brings 18+ years of leadership experience within the corporate office at JPMorgan Chase. Her vision and expertise in corporate performance management, process engineering, large-scale event planning, and program/project management have been leveraged for optimal results within start-up businesses, restructurings, mergers & acquisitions, divestitures and outsourcing.

 

Nancy's exceptional track record is based on her philosophy of total enterprise change supported by the strategic use of virtual teams. She is equally known for her analytic competence, such that she can quickly identify and diagnose corporate inefficiencies and execute turn-around programs from inception to a measureable steady state.

 

Offering a rare blend of creative, operational and technical strengths, Nancy has built and led global high-performance teams in

  • designing an award-winning intranet, as recognized by the 2007 Nielsen Norman Group Design Annual
  • reducing corporate technology's spend by $2.5MM by rationalizing the use of personal technologies (laptops, phones, fax machines, etc.)
  • introducing a total cost of ownership discipline within Corporate Technology that catalyzing tens of millions of dollars in expense reductions in operational expenses and a governance process for investment spending

She and her partner in work and life, Mark Goebel, co-founded Goebel & Goebel Management Associates (GGMA), a new breed of consulting firms that assists unique talents move into hyper growth via creative business development and technological innovation. Their current client roster includes

  • A UK-based company, specializing in benchmarking corporate intranets, came to GGMA for help in building its footprint in the US
  • A five-star chef came to GGMA to executive produce a pilot for a TV cooking show. GGMA is now shopping the pilot with networks and sponsors. 
  • A production team has enlisted GGMA to raise capital to bring Angels, The Musical to Broadway
  • A start-up company has enlisted GGMA to create a new breed of portals that will service the holistic and spiritual communities
  • Two software development houses are leveraging GGMA to commoditize tools that will revolutionize the business intelligence marketplace

Nancy holds a bachelor's in business administration from Hofstra University, a certificate in entrepreneurial effectiveness from CEOspace and successful completion of various self-directed learning programs (Embracing Change, Prosperity Boot Camp, Essential Facilitation, etc.). In addition to her academic pursuits, Nancy volunteers her time as an executive board member at OLM Academy and a strategic partner for Rescue-A-Million. With a passion for travel, Nancy also earned her credentials as a referring travel agent, so she can plan special getaways with her wonderful husband Mark and two children, Christina and Alexandre.

Entrepreneur, angel investor and business developer, Mark Goebel made the transition from a 23 year career in Information Technology to now serve as the Chief Strategy Officer of the company he founded, G&G Capital. G&G Capital seeks out early-stage companies that by design give back to family, community, country and planet. Mark -- along with the leadership of G&G Capital -- invest money and/or expertise in businesses and art projects and ensure that each effort is structured for growth, protects intellectual property, raises required capital, finds exceptional talent and sequences everything properly.

 

Mark crafted a professional and personal growth strategy in business, which gave him leadership experience in top firms across the financial services (Citibank, JP Morgan and Merrill Lynch), pharmaceuticals (Hoffmann LaRoche), telecommunications (Avaya) and management consulting (various) industries. This broad-based experience has enabled Mark to develop a powerful prospective in solving business challenges and understanding the changing business landscape.

Mark has been trained by the best organizations to develop high-performance teams and self-directed talent with a focus on continuous learning strategies and technologies. Organizational development has also been a key focus in Mark's career as he has lead the development of powerful multi-dimensional, business intelligence solutions for performance measurement, dynamic decision-making, faster, smarter and ahead of the competition.

 

Mark is a classically trained singer having performed with the American Boychoir School highlighted by performances at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, on television and in film. Mark also studied dance at the Princeton Ballet Society. Mark has performed in numerous theater and musical theater productions and studied at the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers.
