We are a team of creative professionals with decades of combined experience in the advertising and design business, including branding, logo design, collateral, brochures, advertising, radio and TV spots, tradeshow booth graphics, interactive design, online advertising, website design, etc. We have won more than 10 industry awards and currently have a full roster of clients covering the medical devices, retail, engineering, technology and entertainment industries.

Solana Crawford, Founder and Chief Design Officer, DESIGN about TOWN

Solana founded DESIGN about TOWN in 2005 and now serves as Chief Design Officer. She has over 13 years of experience in the print design and advertising fields and over 8 years in the web design and interactive arena. Solana has taught Graphic Design at "Universidad de Ciencias Empresariales y Sociales" in Buenos Aires (one of Fast Company's top 15 "Fastest Cities" in 2007) and currently reviews students portfolios as well as serves as a Judge for design and web award giving associations. Solana is also on the Board of Directors for Paco Gomes and Dancers (www.pacogomesdance.com ).

With DESIGN about TOWN Solana has put together an amazing team of professionals who excel at design, programming, copy writing and client service.
Solana holds a B.S. in Graphic Design from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Sean Crawford, CEO, DESIGN about TOWN

Sean is co-Founder and CEO of DESIGN about TOWN, a San Francisco Web and Graphic Design. In this capacity, Sean is responsible for the operational side of the business including Strategy, Marketing and Business Development. Sean is also the Director of Web Product Development and Business Development for Orange Labs San Francisco. In this capacity Sean is responsible for the discovery and development of innovative products and services and working with European teams for integration into the product line.

Prior to joining Orange and founding DESIGN about TOWN, Sean worked in Latin America in a similar capacity and has over 10 years of experience in marketing and technology.

Sean holds a B.A. from UC San Diego and an MBA from San Francisco State University.

Brian Compton, Business Manager & Project Coordinator, DESIGN about TOWN

Brian handles business and project management for DESIGN about TOWN. He has coordinated projects dealing with color science, print production, studio photography, web development, and various other graphic services. Brian has 8 years of experience leading diverse teams of creative and technical staff through challenging projects, all the while managing to keep details organized, budgets in line and schedules on track.

Previously, Brian was the Project Director for Research and Development at Group 360 where he conceptualized and oversaw the creation of "Hi-Definition Color," a six-color process that dramatically widens the printable color gamut. He also served as Project Coordinator at Tulip Graphics where he handled for all stages of print, design, and photography projects.

Brian has a B.S. Graphic Communications from Clemson University.
